What your compassionate care looks like  

• You will keep a nurturing eye on each resident’s condition, and provide proactive care that enriches their daily life 
• Manage care plans that support residents’ holistic needs. You will provide respectful, tailored support that empowers their choices and independence 
• Ensure safe medication and accurately document medication plans, interventions and progress notes  

What you will bring to the role  

• A true passion for caring for others to deliver personalised holistic care that supports residents and ensures needs are met  
• Strong communication skills 
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) 
• Current AHPRA registration (Nursing) 
• The ability to quickly build your knowledge of the AN-ACC funding system attributes (experience with this system would be even better) 
• Experience providing nursing services, whether in aged care, hospitals or community care settings 
• An appreciation for the importance of accurate reporting and documentation management  
• The ability to lead, effectively supervise and delegate tasks to our PCA/AIN’s

As a Clinical Team Leader working with the core care team, you will strive to provide outstanding care to our residents, promoting individualised support that enhances and promotes their quality of life. Overseeing a team of care staff, you will empower your team through learning, support, and leadership to advance the level of service to your residents.

Working in conjunction with your Clinical Manager, you will ensure care governance and quality compliance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards.

The important role you will play  

• Ensure the sustainability and growth of the service through your diligence with AN-ACC funding, care planning, and community engagement
• Lead all clinical services in line with Regis process and policy
• Provide Quality Care Services and professional practice
• Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Ensuring resident health records and clinical documentation is relevant and up to date
• Ensuring “best practice” medication management guidelines are observed and regularly monitored.

What you will bring to the role   

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian recognised equivalency
• Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
• Previous senior clinical care experience in the health sector with clinical experience in aged care
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
• Sound understanding of care assessment in the Aged Care Sector and use of AN-ACC
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a wide range of IT applications
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia

• Stock control and ordering
• Resident dietary management
• Kitchen and food cost management
• Production and delivery of high-quality meals
• Service excellence around all aspects of the dining experience
• Strong front of house presence including communication with residents and families
• Provide leadership and guidance to the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth operation

What you will bring to the role  

• Qualification (Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery) and/or experience working as a Cook or currently enrolled
• Aged Care would be advantageous but not necessary
• Understanding of special dietary needs
• Time management and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work as part of a broader catering team to continually improve the catering experience in our home.

What you will bring to the role  

• A true passion for caring for others   
• A caring credential - a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies  
• Prior experience as a personal carer in aged care is a big plus. If you are new to aged care, we will make sure you get the training you need to succeed.  
• A commitment to deliver personalised holistic care that supports residents in achieving their goals and having their needs met - support them to live the life they deserve

How you will make an impact as a Resident Companion 

The primary focus of the Resident Companion role is to ensure Residents are given specific one-on-one time each week, to uphold our Additional Services commitments and support our Residents in promoting connection and wellbeing. The Resident Companion is required to assist with the activities relating to Regis Additional Services residents and Residents that may book these services.

• Liaise with the General Manager to develop a plan for each resident
