The opportunity
Join Regis as the General Manager at Sandgate Griffith on a 12-month secondment (internal) or maximum term contract (external). In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring exceptional person-centred care, compliance with aged care standards, and a safe, supportive environment for residents and staff. You’ll drive team engagement, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and deliver strong commercial outcomes through strategic planning and operational excellence.

How you will make an impact as a General Manager
You’ll lead the home with a clear focus on delivering exceptional, person-centred care while ensuring compliance with aged care standards and workplace safety. Your leadership will inspire and engage a multidisciplinary team, driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. By leveraging data and insights, you’ll optimise operational performance, achieve financial and occupancy targets, and implement strategies that enhance resident experience and strengthen Regis’ reputation as a trusted provider.

What you will bring to the role
- Proven senior leadership experience in health or aged care, with the ability to inspire and engage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets, financial targets, and operational performance.
- Demonstrated capability to implement change and drive continuous improvement in a complex service environment.
- Knowledge of aged care funding models and compliance requirements under the Aged Care Act (essential).
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work within deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
