How you will make an impact as a Registered Nurse

• You will keep a nurturing eye on each resident’s condition, and provide proactive care that enriches their daily life 
• Manage care plans that support residents’ holistic needs. You will provide respectful, tailored support that empowers their choices and independence 
• Ensure safe medication and accurately document medication plans, interventions and progress notes

What you will bring to the role

• A true passion for caring for others to deliver personalised holistic care that supports residents and ensures needs are met  
• Strong communication skills 
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) 
• Current AHPRA registration (Nursing) 
• The ability to quickly build your knowledge of the AN-ACC funding system attributes (experience with this system would be even better) 
• Experience providing nursing services, whether in aged care, hospitals or community care settings 
• An appreciation for the importance of accurate reporting and documentation management  
• The ability to lead, effectively supervise and delegate tasks to our PCA/AIN’s

• Drive the sustainability and growth of the home by ensuring accurate AN-ACC funding, effective care planning, and meaningful engagement with residents and the local community
• Lead all clinical services in alignment with Regis policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Champion the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and uphold professional clinical practice across the team
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and supporting initiatives across clinical and lifestyle services
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all clinical documentation, care records, and resident health files
• Coordinate and support scheduled audits, ensuring clinical indicators are tracked and reported in line with organisational requirements
• Maintain up-to-date and relevant clinical documentation to support safe and effective care delivery
• Oversee medication management practices, ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines and regular monitoring for safety and compliance

What you will bring to the role 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian recognised equivalency
• Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
• Previous senior clinical care experience in the health sector with clinical experience in aged care
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
• Sound understanding of care assessment in the Aged Care Sector and use of AN-ACC
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a wide range of IT applications

• Individualized Programs - Develop lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences, and goals to enhance physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being
• Active Participation - Lead and participate in the delivery of activities, ensuring they are engaging and meaningful
• Comprehensive Assessments - Prepare thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents
• Detailed Documentation - Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement
• Team Management - Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver top-notch lifestyle activities
• Training and Orientation - Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers
• Positive Relationships - Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers
• Community Engagement - Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community
• What you will bring to the role   
• Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
• Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator position (or similar), including dementia care
• Experience using a computerized care management system (desirable) and outstanding computer literacy skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

This is a maternity cover fixed term contractual role

About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a fixed term Receptionist  to join our team at Regis Como in Western Australia. This role would require and would suit someone who has previous knowledge in rostering and is outgoing, friendly, and who relates well to the elderly. It requires someone with an excellent phone manners and IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Effective at building internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrates initiative
• Maintain files and documentation
• General administration and data entry
• Stationery ordering and petty cash management 
• Assisting with staff rosters and training schedules Ensure efficient operation of the front reception area
• Assisting with visitor enquiries and conducting home tours
• Administrative support for other departments of the home

About you

• Previous experience working in a busy reception role
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity
• Strong accuracy and data entry skills
• PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
• Ability to learn internal software systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding communication, telephone and customer service skills
• Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment
