  • A true passion for caring for others  
  • A caring credential - a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies 
  • Prior experience as a personal carer in aged care is a big plus. If you are new to aged care, we will make sure you get the training you need to succeed. 
  • A commitment to deliver personalised holistic care that supports residents in achieving their goals and having their needs met - support them to live the life they deserve

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian recognised equivalency
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse

  • Sound understanding of care assessment in the Aged Care Sector and use of AN-ACC
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

The opportunity   

The Project Registered Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the implementation of the Care Management System (CMS) across Regis Homes. Reporting to the Clinical Project Manager, the Project RN is actively involved in clinical data migration, resident assessments, care planning, system familiarisation, and staff training. As a clinical champion and change agent, the Project RN promotes digital adoption and ensures that practices align with aged care standards and Regis’ clinical governance framework.

What you will bring to the role  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) 
  • Current AHPRA registration (Nursing) 
  • Experience in aged care or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic clinical systems (use of Autumn care and/or Telstra Health Clinical Manager is desirable).
  • Fast typing skills and confident computer navigation
  • High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, clinical systems).
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and support multiple sites, including inter-state travel.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing, care planning and evaluating complex care needs.  
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Principles, and other aged-care-related legislation. 

 What is expected out of this role:

  • Implement Telstra Health to replace existing system Autum Care 
  • Coordinating CMS implementation across multiple sites with varying levels of readiness and staff capability.
  • Balancing clinical responsibilities with technical system support and troubleshooting.
  • Driving change management and staff engagement during system transitions.
  • Ensuring compliance with aged care standards and clinical governance during process changes.
