Your responsibilities will include risk assessments, safety training, incident investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

How you will make an impact as a WHS Business Partner 

  • Implement WHS strategies and ensure compliance across your region. 
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with timely reporting. 
  • Deliver safety training and coach leaders to build WHS capability. 
  • Analyse data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will bring to the role   

  • Minimum of a Cert IV OHS / WHS, but Diploma or Graduate / post graduate OHS qualification preferred
  • Minimum of three years working in a similar role - ideally Health or Aged Care
  • Experience and sound understanding of the WHS legislation and WHSMS
  • Demonstrated work history managing successful WHS and IM improvement projects
  • Commercial outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; personal presence
  • High level of computer literacy, focussing on Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Webex
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst maintaining efficient use of time
  • Stakeholder management; ability to secure their time and attention
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning, Change Management and implementation.
  • Ability to achieve outcomes through others

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, including NDIS or police check (role dependent), current year flu vaccination, and certification proof.
