About the Role

As General Manager, you will have full accountability for the leadership, performance and culture of the home.

You will:

  • Lead the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care on a 24/7 basis
  • Create a safe, compliant and high-performing environment aligned to the Aged Care Act and standards 
  • Build capability across your team through coaching, feedback and performance management 
  • Drive strong commercial outcomes including occupancy, funding, labour management and overall financial performance 
  • Use data, insights and quality frameworks to continuously improve care, safety and operational performance 
  • Strengthen resident and family engagement to enhance experience and outcomes 

This is a visible leadership role where your impact will be felt across residents, families, employees and the broader community.

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior leadership experience in aged care, health or a regulated service environment
  • Proven ability to lead, engage and develop multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, occupancy and performance delivery
  • Sound knowledge of aged care funding, compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
