The opportunity
We are looking for an AN-ACC (Funding) Specialist to work collaboratively with our portfolio of homes across Perth (including fortnightly travel to Bunbury).
This is a great opportunity for a process driven Clinician to work in a leading Aged Care organisation. We’re looking for someone with great knowledge about AN-ACC. The Funding & Document Specialist will oversee and audit claims to provide direct mentoring and support to stakeholders to improve submission accuracy.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the resident assessment process
- Train and mentor staff and stakeholders
- Maintaining and conducting AN-ACC Assessments while working closely with both Senior Management and Allied Health Professionals
- AN-ACC assessments, maximising funding and reviewing AN-ACC processes to achieve best outcomes including documentation
- Maintain current AN-ACC knowledge and share information with the continuous delivery of training and education to all care staff- this guidance and support will focus
- Travel required between homes and occasionally interstate (a vehicle allowance is provided)

What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the AN-ACC framework
- Proven experience in achieving AN-ACC targets
- A Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
- Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (advantageous)
- Outstanding computer literacy
